Umrah Visa Requirements for Pakistani Citizens (2026 Guide)
2026 Umrah Visa Rules for Pakistanis
The process of acquiring an Umrah visa from Pakistan has evolved significantly over the last few years, transitioning primarily into a seamless digital experience. As Islamabad's leading travel agency, Harmain Travels processes hundreds of Umrah applications weekly.
Here is your definitive, up-to-date guide for securing your Umrah Visa in 2026.
1. Types of Visas Allowed for Umrah
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has made it easier than ever for Pakistanis to perform Umrah. You can now perform Umrah on:
Umrah e-Visa: The standard electronic visa designed specifically for pilgrimage. Valid for 90 days.
Saudi Tourist e-Visa (With Umrah Privilege): If you meet certain criteria (e.g., holding a valid US, UK, or Schengen visa), you can apply for a multiple-entry tourist visa which allows you to perform Umrah.
Transit Visa: If you are flying via Saudia Airlines or Flynas, you can obtain a free 96-hour transit visa that allows you to perform a quick Umrah.
2. Mandatory Document Checklist
To process your standard Umrah Visa through Harmain Travels, you must provide:
Original Machine-Readable Passport: Must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of travel.
CNIC / B-Form: Clear scan of your valid Pakistani Computerized National Identity Card. For children, a Nadra B-Form is required.
Photographs: Two recent passport-size photographs with a light blue or white background.
Proof of Vaccination: Polio vaccination certificate (specifically for children under 15) and Meningitis (ACYW135).
Biometric Verification: Fingerprint registration via the Saudi Visa Bio smartphone app or at a local Etimad center in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, or your nearest city.
3. The Biometric Process (Saudi Visa Bio App)
You no longer strictly need to wait in line at an Etimad center. The Saudi government allows you to complete your biometric registration directly from your smartphone:
Download the Saudi Visa Bio app (available on iOS and Android).
Scan your passport and CNIC.
Use your phone's camera to scan your face and all 10 fingerprints.
Once completed, provide the biometric reference number to us, and we will finalize your visa issuance.
4. Visa Processing Time & Fees
Processing Time: Once documents and biometrics are complete, the Umrah e-Visa usually takes 24 to 48 hours to process.
Visa Cost: The visa fee is typically bundled into our Umrah packages. Standalone visa processing usually costs around PKR 45,000 to PKR 55,000 (subject to exchange rate fluctuations).
